We will have a consultation/discovery call free of charge to determine if I am a good fit for your goals and needs. During the call, we can discuss how our work could look like.

  • Who I have been historically:

I have excelled and been awarded by peers in every aspect of medical and psychiatric training. You want a well-rounded physician who takes all aspects that are relevant to you in order to achieve your goals.

    What I provide to you:

Our treatment will be guided by your goals. I use medications, psychotherapy, behavior change to get where you want to be. My goal is not just to reduce symptoms in an arbitrary scale. In treatment, I believe in truly understanding the many layers behind symptoms and potential treatments to achieve honest & sustainable results. Symptom improvement will come about as a result of understanding.

Psychological, cultural, lifestyle, biomedical, community factors will be explored and actioned according to your needs, with the most recent evidence and most thorough training in mind.

    How I practice:

My practice is small and designed to be like this so you can get the best possible treatment. I will research treatments for you. I will collaborate with your other doctors, or community members you believe are important, in order to achieve your goals. Even between appointments, I have the time to think, research, consult and reflect about you, so I can provide to you the most thoughtful treatment possible, instead of needing to satisfy arbitrary criteria made by 3d parties, like insurance companies, that could impact our work.

  • When you sign up with me, my professional phone number and email will be provided to facilitate contact.

  • To ensure that your care is comprehensive and personalized with a focus on meeting your needs rather than insurance company dictates, I provide fee-for-service billing in our work together. I do not accept insurance or participate in any insurance billing. I can provide a superbill if you would like to try and obtain out-of-network benefits that your insurance may provide (can cover up to 40-100% of costs). I accept HSA cards.

Fees: $400 per hour billed in 15-minute increments

  • Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. I am here to work with you in an honest, collaborative, smart, evidence-based manner.

  • Yes! I offer a 50% discount to medical students, residents, teachers, occupational, physical therapists, and in general healthcare staff and first responders.

I also offer discounts based on income. I have a specific policy that can be provided after our initial call upon request.

Lastly, for certain specific treatments in the setting of diagnoses that are more costly and long-term (like leucovorin to help communication in autism spectrum disorders, or hyperbolic deprescribing of psychiatric medications), I offer a reduced fee.

  • It varies! This is one of the things we discuss in our discovery/consultation call.

For example, after a one-time consultation, I provide a care plan and recommendations, including follow-up considerations for long-term management, to another doctor or member of your care team.

I also see ongoing patients for psychotherapy, who I see weekly or twice a week for one hour each time. In therapy, we discuss shared goals and decide upon an estimated duration of treatment based on our expectations and progress.

When we have our first call, we discuss expectations of treatment and come up with a potential plan for treatment together.
